We had the exciting opportunity to design the mascot for Juniper Bomb — a quirky character that captures the bold spirit of the brand. Inspired by a ticking time bomb and a juniper berry, the mascot strikes a balance between mischief and charm.

To bring its personality to life, we developed a series of detailed illustrations and animations that reflect its playful and unpredictable nature. Whether it is stirring up a little chaos or making a dramatic entrance, the mascot always keeps things interesting.

From concept to execution, our aim was to pack every frame with energy and character, giving Juniper Bomb a visual identity as explosive as its name.

Project Brief :
Greater Than’s limited-edition gins come with personality and we were brought in to give that personality a face. The goal: create bold, animated mascots that captured the wild stories behind each drop and stood out on screens.

Concept :
Each bottle had its own backstory.
For Juniper Bomb, a power cut during production inspired a name that demanded a mischievous mascot — so we built a plump little bomb with juniper flair and a lit fuse.
For No Sleep, the gin was all about untamed energy. The mascot? A slightly unhinged eyeball with spindly legs and major “I haven’t slept in days” energy — always buzzing, always moving.

Illustration & Animation :
We illustrated each character with expressive forms and exaggerated quirks. Juniper Bomb featured playful movements and cheeky smirks, while No Sleep’s wide-eyed chaos played out in animated loops that felt as jittery as the name. Both mascots were brought to life for digital assets — from launch teasers to social campaigns.

Outcome :
Two drops. Two worlds. One approach let the characters carry the story. Each mascot added personality, playfulness, and visual consistency to Greater Than’s limited releases, giving their audience something to remember beyond the bottle.
